Our clubs 53rd Charter Night was held at Dartford Football Club on Friday 17th June 2022. This was Lion Presdient Rags Sandhu’s first charter although he has served 2 years as president. Like most events and gatherings, COVID19 was to blame for the club not having a charter in 2021.
Nevertheless, this charter was one which was greatly supported by community, members and dignitaries from right across the Zone. Being an evening reception, the music played late into the night and plenty of dancing was done by all.
Along with the Mayor of Dartford, District Governor Lion Ian Forbes and his wife Suzie attended the event along with Zone Chairman Lion Ranjit Deogun and his wife. Incoming District Governor Lion Rizy Rawoof and his wife also attended the event.

Northfleet & Ebbsfleet, COGS, Woolwich & Greenwich, Bexley & Sidcup and Gillingham.
In his speech Lions President Rags Sandhu said “I have thoroughly enjoyed my term in office, the changes the club has made along with the modernisation we have achieved, is a true mark of the commitment and passion our members have within the club. For this I thank each of you.”
