Les was introduced to  Dartford Lions Club in January 1986 by Lion Ken Baker. Soon after joining, Les served the club as its treasurer for almost 9 years.

He has always been one of the lead members when it comes to the organising and running of Bonfire Night.

Les has always lived in Dartford and is still a very keen and active member of the club, he still continues to meet members of the club at its site on Heath Lane Dartford on a regular basis, I think its safe to say he knows almost everything there is to know about the lock-up and its contents!

He said one of the things he loves most about being a member of the Lions is “its companionship and willingness of the members to help the community”.
