Although involved in a previous employment for most of my life I have been working in the law profession, firstly for 32 years as a Police Officer and now within a Criminal Defence Solicitors firm. I am proud to say I was one of the founding members of this highly successful company and I am working there.
It therefore goes without saying I have spent most of my working life, working, assisting, advising, and helping people with their particular and in some cases profoundly serious problems.
It was therefore a natural progression that I became involved with the Lions who volunteer their time to help raise funds for their local community and have fun doing it.
My only regret is that I left it so late to join the Lions given the hardworking and wonderful group of people who I have met since joining Dartford Lions Club.
It is not only a great pleasure but fun when we meet during our regular monthly meetings, we also manage achieve so much in raising funds which are of course used to help both groups and individuals with our community.
