As 2022 comes to an end, the fundraising efforts of our club continue to the end!
Thanks to the continued ongoing support of Bridgett and the amazing team at Asda Greenhithe, Dartford our members were able to carry out this years ‘bucket collection’ at the store in Christmas Week.
This local superstore has been supporting Dartford Lions Club (CIO) for many years, this year was no exception. Club president, Lion Avtar Sandhu MBE along with other members stayed at the store for most of the day whilst shoppers added money to the clubs collection buckets. This year a special visit was made by the Club’s Lion, the presence of the Lion provided shoppers to take advantage of plenty of photos with friends, family and children – an altogether great fundraising activity hosted by our club.
President Lion Avtar said ” Even though we are all facing various challenges in terms of everyday living costs, it is still wonderful to see our local residents supporting our Club. It is the support of our local community which allows us to continue our work within the Dartford Borough. Within the past few weeks alone, we have given out a record amount of food vouchers to those residents who need them most. Together we will continue to support our community.”
